Tumor volume change ratio (%) was defined as tumor volume at post MRI/tumor volume at anti-tumor drug injection ×100. Perls DAB (%) and TdT-mediated dUTP nick end labeling (TUNEL) (%) represent percentages of positive-cell area to an area of the whole tumor in each immunohistochemical staining. Necrosis (%) was defined as a percentage of a necrotic area to an area of the whole tumor in hematoxylin-eosin staining. SI, signal intensity.
