Blockade effects of the glial inhibitor minocycline (a), specific IL-10 antibody (b), β-endorphin antiserum (c), and μ-opioid receptor-preferred antagonist naloxone (d), given intrathecally, on the spinal GW9508-induced mechanical antiallodynia in neuropathic rats. Neuropathic rats, 2 weeks after spinal nerve ligation, received a single injection of the vehicle (10 μl) or each blocking agent followed by a single intrathecal injection of GW9508 (30 μg) 4 h (for minocycline) or 30 min (for the rest drugs) later for subsequent assessment of withdrawal responses to mechanical stimuli.
