Participants Patients with lung cancer
Interventions Intervention: warfarin in addition to standard anticancer treatment. Warfarin was given orally for 6 months starting on day 1 of chemotherapy at a dose of 5 mg/d to achieve a target international normalised ratio of 1.5 to 2.5.
