Transversal and coronal slices of structural (T1-mprage) MRI scans and 18F-Flortaucipir PET scans are shown for all included subjects with semantic variant primary progressive aphasia (svPPA) and bvFTD due to a hexanucleotide expansion in the C9orf72-gene. Case numbers correspond to case numbers in Table 1. Below the individual images are mean SUVR-images of 40 AD patients and the 54 controls in MNI-space, included for comparative purposes. The images are presented in radiological orientation (left in the image corresponds to patient right). Asterisks indicate the most affected side in the svPPA cases.
