The external cranial base linear measurements show classes I and IIIb have more evident reduction distances in anterior craniofacial structures than posterior, suggesting linkage to the more limited nasal and nasopharyngeal airway space. The entire upper airway of class II is compromised. Class IIIa has more limited oropharyngeal space. The numbers marked in figures are the percentage changes of each subgroup compared with controls.
