Study flowchart of infants enrolled in the ancillary study of the mono-centric prospective population-based LACTACOL (for global study flowchart of LACTACOL, see [20]). Among the 138 infants included in the LACTACOL cohort, no infant presented necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC), 4 infants had retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) of light severity, 3 presented intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH) of grade 2, 8 displayed bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) at 28 days and 6 at 36 weeks’ postmenstrual age. The 26 selected infants did not have NEC, ROP, or BPD.
