High correlation between the DNA damage level from both comet assay and S-XL-qRT-PCR assay. Both comet assay and S-XL-qRT-PCR DNA damage assay are able to detect significant dose-dependent increase in DNA damage in animals irradiated with 0, 20, and 40 kRad γ-radiation.
