Participants	Patients with non‐muscle‐invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) or muscle‐invasive bladder cancer (MIBC) who had selected radical cystectomy for treatment of bladder cancer; planned accrual of 320 participants
Interventions	Robotically assisted radical cystectomy and intracorporeal urinary diversion vs open radical cystectomy
Outcomes	Primary outcome measures: Days at home within 90 days of surgery Secondary outcome measures: by WHODAS version 2.0 Quality of life measured by EQ‐5D‐5L Health Questionnaire and EORTC QLQ‐C30 version 3
