Implication of three SODs in low-manganese and/or superoxide stress conditions. The logarithmic-phase bacterial cells tested were collected, adjusted to a concentration of 2 × 10⁵ CFU/µL, and 10-fold serially diluted. Then 5 µL of bacterial cells was spotted onto the XOLNM-based minimal medium and the additives of MnCl₂ (6 µM) and MD (10 µg/mL) as indicated. After 24 h of incubation at 37 °C, the growth of bacterial cells was observed.
