Effect of s-PRGF, alone or combined with NaHA, on the re-epithelialization of rabbit primary corneal epithelial (RPCE) cultures. Cultures were exposed for 72 h to 10% FBS; 45% s-PRGF; 45% s-PRGF + 0.1% NaHA (combined treatment); 0.1% NaHA; and 1% BSA as a negative control. The percentage of re-epithelialized area of RPCE cultures after 48 hr (A), and percentage of wells in which the defect in the monolayer had completely resolved at 24 (B), 36 (C) and 48 (D) hours are shown.
