Awareness and management of hypertension and diabetes among CHARLS participants in 2011 and 2015. Awareness: among all participants with hypertension/diabetes, the proportion that were aware of their condition. Monitoring: among participants with hypertension, the proportion that had blood pressure measured at least once in the past 12 months; among participants with diabetes, the proportion that received blood/urine glucose tests, or fundus examinations, or micro-albuminuria tests at least once in the past 12 months. Treatment: among all participants with hypertension/diabetes, the proportion that received current medical treatment for this chronic condition in the past 12 months.
