Participants | Males and females with four or more criteria of BPD |
Interventions | Phase 1 is a 12 week two hours per week acceptance‐based crisis skills training group. Clients have the option of continuing to Phase 2 which consists of an additional 30 weeks of skills training groups covering interpersonal skills, emotion regulation skills and mindfulness skills. The groups are a combination of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy interventions in the context of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy principles of treatment. Random allocation to immediate start of treatment of 3 months delay |
Outcomes | Utilisation of crisis emergency and inpatient services |
