Extracellular vesicles (EVs) derived from endothelial cells of different vascular beds contain cAMP. cAMP was determined in whole cell lysate (A) and EVs (B) collected from unstimulated endothelial cells isolated from either the systemic circulation (aortic endothelial cells) or different vascular segments of pulmonary circulation, i.e., pulmonary endothelial cells: pulmonary microvascular endothelial cells (MV) or pulmonary artery endothelial cells (artery).
