Effect of Pseudomonas brassicacearum strains A, Q8r1–96 and B, L5.1–96 on seed germination and emergence of the wheat cultivars Tara, Finley, and Buchanan. Bacteria were applied at doses ranging from 102 to 108 CFU seed−1 in 1% methyl cellulose. Seeds with the dose of 0 CFU were coated with only 1% methyl cellulose. Plants were incubated in a growth room (15 to 16°C; 12-h photoperiod). Emergence was measured 10 days after the seeds were sown. Bars with the same letter are not significantly different according to Fisher’s protected least significant difference test (P = 0.05).
