Methods RCT of inside‐out TOT vs outside‐in TOT
Participants 250 women
Inclusion criteria: women with SUI in a university teaching hospital in Cairo, Egypt
Interventions Group A: inside‐out TOT (n = 125)
Group B: outside‐in TOT (n = 125)
Outcomes Primary outcomes:
  • improvement of stress incontinence symptom and signs

  • intraoperative time

  • intra‐ and postoperative complications


Secondary outcomes:
  • recurrence of stress incontinence at 12 months

  • subjective cure at 12 months

  • vascular injury/haematoma

  • groin/thigh pain

  • tape erosion
