(B) Collisional activation and tandem mass spectrometry of the mixed triacylglycerol TG(16:0_18:2_18:1) [M+NH4]+ at m/z 874.8. The diglyceride-like product ions at m/z 575,577, and 601 reveal the loss of each fatty acyl group as a free carboxylic acid plus neutral ammonia (NH3).
