Trial name or title	Levonorgestrel intrauterine system for emergency contraception (LIFE)
Methods	Single group assignment
Participants	Women aged 18‐45 years Under‐protected intercourse within the last 5 days (120 h) Willingness to accept either IUS intervention or oral EC Ability and willingness to follow up for in‐clinic UPT Ability and willingness to be contacted by phone for 6‐ and 12‐month follow‐up
Interventions	UPA LNG IUS
Outcomes	Pregnancy
