Facial tactile thresholds during the 21 days experiment. The horizontal axis shows the day after measurement, and the vertical axis shows the facial tactile withdrawal thresholds of the rats. Mean ± standard deviation values are shown. No significant differences were shown between the LF-IS and LF-Con groups. The HF-IS group exhibited significant decreases in periorbital tactile thresholds compared with the HF-Con group (*P < 0.05, ***P < 0.001) from day 3 of the study.
