The National Health Service National Early Warning Score (NEWS) ranges from 0 (least severe) to 20 (most severe). The Intensive Care National Audit & Research Centre (ICNARC) physiology score ranges from 0 (least severe) to 100 (most severe). The Sequential Organ Failure Assessment (SOFA) score ranges from 0 (least severe) to 14 (most severe).
