The signal, $I_d$ expresses the opposite behavior and increases with $M$ (b). The total intensity $I_T=2{\sigma }_n^2+I_d$ received by all channels approaches 1 [inset in (b)]. The maximum improvement in $I_d$ is observed for $R\le 4\times 4$. Larger block sizes lead to a decrease in $I_T$.
