Adolescent females at high risk of pregnancy in the emergency department who are potential users of contraception (high risk of pregnancy is defined as sexually active in the past 3 months and did not use effective contraception at last intercourse and is not on it now) |
Interventions |
Intervention: 3 months of 31 random text messages developed from qualitative interviews. Standard care: paper wallet card advertising family planning clinic |
Outcomes |
Primary outcome: initiation of highly effective contraception. Secondary outcomes: follow‐up, condom use, contraception counselling |
