Effect of loganin on the sleep architecture in freely moving rats. EEG and EMG recordings were immediately applied 6 h after intragastric administration of loganin (35 mg/kg, i.g.) or vehicle. Total sleep and sleep latency (A), percentage of wakefulness, REM sleep and NREM sleep (B), percentage of power density (C) and percentage of delta (0.5–4 Hz), theta (4–8 Hz), alpha (8–13 Hz) and beta bands (13–30 Hz) of NREM sleep (D) were examined.
