Effects of CQ and RAP on the expression of apoptosis‐related proteins Bcl‐2 and Bax in HT‐22 cells induced by ox‐LDL. (A) and (B) HT‐22 cells were treated with ox‐LDL (100 μg/mL) in the presence of chloroquine (30 μM) or rapamycin (400 nM) for 24 hours. After 24‐hour treatment, proteins were extracted from cell lysates and analyzed by Western blotting assay for Bax (20 kDa) and Bcl‐2 (28 kDa). Each lane was loaded with 30 μg of proteins for all experiments. (C–E) The relative optical density values of Bax and Bcl‐2 to β‐actin were quantified with Sigma Scan Pro5 software, respectively.
