Reduction of miR‐21 suppresses cell growth by human telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT) in glioblastoma cells. (AC) Cells were transfected with As‐miR‐21, and cell survival, proliferation, and apoptosis were measured by MTT assay, cell cycle distribution, and Annexin V FITC and PI double stain. (D) Cells were treated with As‐miR‐21, the levels of hTERT mRNA and protein were detected, and β‐actin and GAPDH were regarded as an endogenous normalizer. n = 3. *P < 0.05 as compared with the control group.
