Effects of chronic diphenhydramine treatment on maximal electroshock (MES) threshold and pentylenetetrazol (PTZ)‐induced seizures after withdrawal in histidine decarboxylase knockout (HDC‐KO) and wild‐type (WT) mice. Ten days after withdrawal from a 2‐week treatment with 40 mg/kg/day diphenhydramine (diphen), the MES threshold (A, n = 9–10) and PTZ‐induced seizure behavioral stage (B, n = 6–9) were tested in HDC‐KO and WT mice.
