A schematic view of the multitask landmark detection network that was used for detection of the femoral head center and the fovea capitis is shown. This is based on an encoder-decoder architecture with long and short skip connections. The encoder part was used for feature learning from the input data, the decoder part was used to generate the landmark heatmaps. The numbers below each block follow the pattern of “number of feature stack@data size.”
