Details of exercise programme | Name of programme: ESCAPE. Provider(s): physiotherapists. Training: Not stated Setting: Community, gym of a physiotherapy outpatient department. Content: rehabilitation programme comprising of education component and exercise component. Education component: themed, informal discussion led by a physiotherapist designed to enhance patients understanding of condition, its causes, consequences, prognosis and promote simple self‐management strategies. Exercise component: designed to increase strength, balance and co‐ordination and confidence. Length/intensity: Overall rehabilitation programme: 12 sessions twice weekly for 6 weeks.
