Pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic morning trough values of two HTx recipients who were changed from cyclosporin to sirolimus‐based immunosuppressive therapy as a result of severe renal dysfunction. Blood cyclosporin and sirolimus concentrations were measured by EMIT® or LC‐MS/MS, respectively. Flow cytometric analysis of T cell function was measured by percentage expression of: intracellular cytokines (IFN‐γ and IL‐2), cell proliferation (PCNA) and surface antigen expression (CD25).
