Dynamic fluorescence measurements of intracellular [Ca ²⁺ ] in murine photoreceptor‐derived cells after treatment with designated concentrations of zinc oxide nanoparticles. Cells were seeded in a 96‐well plate and grown overnight; they were then loaded with Fluo‐4 probe. After washing twice in DMEM, appropriate concentrations of zinc oxide nanoparticles were separately added in each well automatically, and data were determined immediately by a Multiple Function Microplate Reader.
