Treatment with CRAMP restores the host defence against Staphylococcus aureus infection in Kit ^{W‐sh/W‐sh} mice. WT and Kit ^{W‐sh/W‐sh} mice (n = 6 per group) were intratracheally injected with mouse CRAMP (20 mg/kg) or PBS for four consecutive days prior to S. aureus infection (5 × 10⁷ CFUs).
