Effect of salvianolic acid A ( SAA ) on iNOS and COX‐2 expression in lipopolysaccharide ( LPS )‐treated cells. Cells were treated with SAA (125, 250 and 500 μm) in the presence of 1 μg/ml LPS for 24 h. Whole cell lysates were prepared and analysed for expressions of iNOS, COX‐2 and β‐actin by western blot analysis (a); relative density of bands normalized to β‐actin was assayed by Bio‐Rad Quantity One 4.62 (b).
