Inhibitory effects of salvianolic acid A ( SAA ) on the protein levels of p‐IKK α/β and NF‐κB (p65) in lipopolysaccharide ( LPS )‐treated cells. Cells were treated with SAA (125, 250 and 500 μm) in the presence of 1 μg/ml LPS for 24 h. Western blot analysis was used to determine levels NF‐κB (p65) in nuclei and p‐IKK α/β in cytoplasm (a); relative density of bands normalized to β‐actin was assayed by Bio‐Rad Quantity One 4.62 (b).
