Five clinical strains (BBC01 to BBC13) were isolated from supragingival dental plaque of caries-free subjects. AD activity and antagonism against S. mutans UA159 in BHI medium was assessed and recorded with the following symbols: −, none; +, low; ++, moderate; +++, high.
