Inclusion and Exclusion Criteria for Article Selection

Inclusion criteria
Studies examined some aspect of the use of dermoscopy in everyday primary care practice. Participants were mainly GPs (or in countries where the term GP is not in common use, primary care physicians working in a generalist community setting to whom patients self-refer).
Exclusion criteria
Expert reviews of dermoscopy, commentaries or editorials discussing other articles. Articles focused on GPs working in a specialist or secondary care setting. GPs recruited to training interventional studies in dermoscopy. GPs participating in screening programs. Teledermoscopy studies in which dermatologists interpret the images. Dermoscopy interpreted by artificial intelligence.
