Alteration in MAP kinases ERK1/2, p38, and JNKs signaling after tensile strain of 20% and 30% in the 158N cell line. Proteins were extracted from control (Ctrl) and stretched (Stretch) cells and western blot was performed for ERK1/2 (a, d), p38 (b, e), and JNKs (c, f). β-Actin (47 kDa) was used as a loading control. The ratio of P-ERK to total ERK and the ratio of P-p38 to total p38 are presented following 20% (a, b, respectively) and 30% (d, e, respectively) of strain. The ratio of P-JNK to total JNK is presented following strain of 20% (c) and 30% (f) for the 54 and 46 kDa isoforms.
