Figure 4. — Comparison of CRP levels between the two groups. The intragroup comparisons of CRP before and after anesthesia were analyzed by paired t-test, and the comparisons between the two groups at the same time-point were performed by independent samples t-test. There was no difference in the level of CRP between the two groups before anesthesia (P>0.05). At 24 h after surgery, the levels of CRP increased significantly in both groups, compared with before anesthesia (^#P<0.05). The level of CRP in group A was significantly lower than that in group B at 24 h after surgery (*P<0.05). CRP, C-reactive protein.
