Immunoblot analysis of caspase-3. SMMC-7721 cells were treated for 12, 24, and 48 h with 4a (IC60) and cisplatin (IC60), and cellular extracts were analyzed to detect both the inactive (procaspase-3) and active (cleaved caspase-3) forms of caspase-3. β-Actin was shown as a loading control, and cisplatin was used as a positive control for apoptosis.
