KSHV virion structure and clinical manifestations of Kaposi sarcoma. A Schematic presentation of KSHV structure. KSHV virions display the icosahedral nucleocapsids surrounded by a lipid bilayer envelope. Between the capsid and envelope is a morphologically amorphous layer called the tegument.
