Prolonged CBD treatment does not affect hippocampal neuron numbers and volumes in C57BL/6J mice. The CA1 region was counted from Bregma −1.34 mm to −3.80 mm. Former as well as current CBD treatment had no influence on the total number of neurons in the CA1 region (A).
