Viability of CHO, FRT and HEK293 cells was assessed by Trypan blue exclusion, after 30 min incubation with anionophore. TD50 (±SEM) is the concentration for 50% of the maximum toxicity. The concentration for the 50% of maximum inducible apoptosis is AD50. Data shown are means±SEM from five independent experiments.
