Mutations of Glu⁸²², Asn⁸⁵⁹ and Asp⁸⁶² to the negatively-charged amino acid residues reduced the Ca²⁺-sensitivity of rTRPM4. CRCs for the effect of Ca²⁺ on the currents at +100 mV, which were mediated by E822D (filled triangles), N859D (open squares) and D862E (open inverted triangles) (n = 8, 5 and 8, respectively) are shown.
