The mGluR1 cKO mice were treated with Dox between 8 and 16 weeks of age. Simple spike activity in vivo was preserved in mGluR1 cKO mice during Dox-induced depletion of mGluR1 from PCs, although the level was lower than that of control mice. Complex spike activity of mGluR1 cKO mice in vivo was higher than that of control mice. *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01.
