Tangential migration delay of MGE-derived cortical interneurons in Sp9-CKOs. (A–D′) GFP immunostaining on E12.5 and E13.5 coronal hemisections showed that MGE-derived Sp9 mutant interneurons migrate into the cortex less efficiently. Note the reduction of GFP+ cells in the marginal zone of Sp9-CKOs compared with controls at E13.5 (arrows in C′,D′).
