After animal perfusion, spinal cords were dissected, postfixed, and longitudinally sectioned by means of a cryostat. Spinal cord tissue sections were stained for myelin basic protein (MBP, green). The confocal microscope images for the spinal cord of lesioned animals and transplanted with LS or MALS tissue were obtained using the same intensity, pinhole, wavelength, and thickness of the acquisition.
