The Ck19-CreER^T and Opn-iCreER^T2 drivers are highly specific towards cholangiocytes in non-injured livers. (a,b) Schematic experimental outline. Mice were injected with tamoxifen and sacrificed three days or three weeks later. The percentage of tdTomato⁺ Hnf-4α⁺ cells was quantified in liver sections of Ck19-CreER-tdTomato and Opn-CreER-tdTomato mice (n = 7–8 mice per experiment; 18 pictures per mouse). No statistically significant differences were detected between groups.
