Also identified were 2 large ongoing studies, which aim to recruit 6000 children and 11,000 adults. They were expected to report results in 2017 (NCT01462344; NCT01475721) Current evidence is insufficient to show that regular salmeterol in combination with fluticasone is safe for use in adults or children
