Statistical significance of differences (*, P < 0.05) was determined by unpaired Student t test. (C) Level of glucose uptake was determined in MDA-MB-231 human breast cancer cells after 24 h treatment with BITC (1 and 2.5 μM). Experiments were done at least twice with consistent results and representative data are shown as mean ± SD (n = 4). Statistical significance of differences (*, P < 0.05) was determined by One-way ANOVA followed by Dunnett’s test.
