Bmp2 partially rescues myocyte function, differentiation and maturation during endocardial ablation. (A) The expression of Bmp2, Igf1, Tgfb1, Fgf3 and Pdgfb was decreased in NFATc1-DTR EBs treated from D4 to D8 of differentiation relative to untreated EBs. (B) The addition of Bmp2 from D4 to D8 increased the number of contracting D10 EBs compared with those only treated with DT. A similar increase was not detected by addition of recombinant Ifg1, Tgfβ1, Fgf3, Pdgfb and Nrg1b1. GF, growth factor.
