Reversal of cocaine-induced changes in cell proliferation and cyclin A2 expression in primary human astrocytes by the JNK inhibitor SP600125. SP600125 (10 μM) was applied to primary human astrocytes 30 min before 10 μM cocaine administration. Cell proliferation and expression of cyclin A2 were measured 48 hr after cocaine treatment. (A) For the cell proliferation assay, data are shown as percentages of control cell numbers at 0 hr (n=6). (B) The expression of cyclin A2 was expressed as fold changes in relationship to the control values (n=6).
