Phenotypes of the H4-8A reference strain (wild type), the previously published Δhom2 strain⁶ and a Δhom2 strain obtained in this study. The strains were grown as monokaryons and dikaryons (crossed with H4-8B Δhom2). There was no phenotypic difference between the previously published deletion strain and the one obtained in this study.
